lyrics

Although she knows he’s gone
She will continue and carry on
And even though she will never see him
He’s in her mind (He’s in her mind)
And if one day she ends it all
He'll accept her soul
For that’s the pact they made
A promise to the grave (Promise to the grave)
I can hardly see your face
I hardly see your face
But I can always feel your pain
I can feel your pain
Cold blood running through her tired bones
She hides it well
The scars she wears tell a story of hope
No time to heal
She longs to feel that electric again
Shocking her back to life
But it won't come, not in her mind
The daily grind takes its toll
She prays one day
She’ll feel at all
She prays one day
She’ll feel at home
I can hardly see your face
I hardly see your face
But I can always feel your pain
I always feel your pain
She looks down and takes it in
Remembering those times of joy
Gone are those days
And she knows it’s done
But she will carry on regardless
Pushing on
I can hardly see your face
I hardly see your face
But I can always feel your pain
I always feel your pain
Don’t give up (Don’t give up)
There’s more to this
Don’t give up (Don’t give up)
You're more than this [x 4]
